Binance will support the rebranding of Maker ($MKR) to Sky ($SKY), which includes a token swap and redenomination. The old $SKY ticker (previously for Skycoin) will be updated to $SKYCOIN by July 25, 2025.  All $MKR spot trading pairs will be delisted, and MKR deposits and withdrawals will be suspended on September 15. $SKY deposits will open on September 17, with trading for new $SKY pairs launching shortly after. Binance will handle the token swap process and announce when SKY withdrawals become available.

$MKR holders must upgrade their tokens to $SKY by September 18, 2025. After this date, a penalty will apply for delayed upgrades.
